Enhancement Shaman Buffs and Totems

Next I wanna talk about your buffs and how to use them. Again I'm not going to spam your mind with too much information. I want to keep things clear and easy to use.

Weapon buffs and shield

Ok the first 3 things we think about before we start dps-ing are the weapon buffs and of course your shield. As enhancement shaman your want to use the following weapon buffs and shield for PVE:

• Main Hand: Windfury weapon, This is a nature damage attack that has a 20% change to trigger 3 extra attacks with bonus attack power
• Off Hand: Flametongue weapon, This spell does fire damage and increases your spell power
• Lightning Shield, This will do instant nature damage when you get hit

Totems


Now your main totems, I'm going to name the ones best for you and your DPS not taking into consideration that there's another shaman in your group or certain other classes with the same buff effect.

• Strength of Earth Totem, increases strength and agility...we love agility!
• Searing Totem (Single Target) This totem became useful in Cataclysm with the stacking fire DOT that boosts your Lava Lash by 20% for each application, Magma Totem (AOE), Fire Elemental Totem(Boss Fights), All fire damage totems..situational pick 
• Windfury Totem, Speed increase for all party and raid members of 10%!
• Healing Stream Totem, Just some extra healing to help out the healer.

Like I said these are probably your personal bests and depending on your group composition you might need to use a different setup because certain buffs don't stack. Also defeating bosses and clearing content is team work so pick your totems according to the tactics for a fight. Some fights aren't a DPS race but rely on survivability or healing power. In these cases you are best of picking totems to help out your healer(s).
